Complaints handling policy

How we receive, review, and respond to complaints about our services.

Last updated: September 2026

Our commitment

Universal Electro-Tech aims to deliver premium electrical maintenance and contracting services. If something does not meet the standard you expect, we want to know quickly so we can put it right.

How to make a complaint

Email admin@uet.net.au or use our contact form with the subject line "Complaint", and include:

We will acknowledge receipt as soon as practical and let you know who is handling the matter.

  • Your name and preferred contact details
  • Site address or job reference if known
  • What happened and when
  • What outcome you are seeking

How we handle complaints

We review the information you provide, speak with relevant team members, and may request additional detail or a site visit if needed.

We aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly. Complex matters may take longer; we will keep you informed of progress.

Outcomes

Depending on the circumstances, outcomes may include clarification, remedial works, a commercial adjustment, or an explanation of why we consider the work complete and compliant.

If you remain dissatisfied after our internal process, you may escalate to an appropriate external body for your situation (for example a relevant consumer or industry pathway in Western Australia).

Records

We keep records of complaints and outcomes to improve our service. Personal information related to complaints is handled in line with our privacy policy.
